Vivo has announced the upcoming launch of its Vivo X200 series in India through a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). A microsite on the Vivo India website offers a preview of the design and key features of the upcoming lineup. While the series debuted in China last month with three models — Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini — only the first two models are expected to launch in India.
The Vivo X200 series is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset and boasts Zeiss-branded cameras. The Indian variants will run on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, in contrast to the Origin OS 5 used in the Chinese models.
Launch Timeline and Features
Although Vivo has not confirmed an exact launch date, the devices are anticipated to arrive by the end of November or early December. The Vivo India microsite confirms several key specifications of the X200 and X200 Pro models. These include curved displays and substantial batteries, with capacities of 5,800mAh for the Vivo X200 and 6,000mAh for the Pro variant.
The Vivo X200 Pro is set to be India’s first smartphone featuring a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera and a V3+ imaging chip, positioning it as a standout in mobile photography.
Pricing and Availability
In China, the Vivo X200 series was launched with the base Vivo X200 priced at CNY 4,300 (approximately ₹51,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The Vivo X200 Pro starts at CNY 5,999 (around ₹63,000) for the same storage variant. While the X200 Pro Mini has not been mentioned for the Indian market, its exclusion hints at a China-exclusive status for this model.
With more details expected soon, Vivo’s latest flagship series is set to bring advanced imaging capabilities and powerful performance to Indian consumers.
